2. What data we collect
Information you provide directly when you sign up for the free webinar, contact us, or purchase the course:
- Webinar registration: first name, email address, optional Instagram handle.
- Course purchase: name, email address, billing address, country, payment information (processed by Podia and Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers).
- Communications: any emails, replies, or support requests you send us.
Information collected automatically when you visit the website:
- Usage data: pages visited, referring URL, time on site, basic interaction events.
- Device data: browser type, operating system, screen size, language.
- IP address and approximate location: collected by our analytics and ad pixels for fraud prevention, audience measurement, and EU/non-EU classification.
- Cookies and similar identifiers: see our Cookie Policy.
- Marketing identifiers: when you arrive from a Meta or Google ad, we may receive click identifiers (
fbclid,gclid) to attribute the visit.
3. How we use your data
- Deliver the free webinar (calendar invite, reminders, replay link).
- Process your purchase, send order confirmation, and grant course access.
- Send transactional emails (account, password reset, drip schedule of course modules).
- Send marketing emails about new lessons, bonuses, or related products — only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Measure how the website performs (analytics, conversion tracking) so we can improve the offer.
- Run advertising campaigns on Meta and Google to reach new students with similar interests.
- Comply with Spanish tax law and EU consumer protection rules.
4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR Article 6)
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): processing your purchase, granting course access, transactional emails.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): marketing emails, non-essential cookies, advertising pixels. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): website analytics, fraud prevention, lead-nurturing for users who opted into the webinar.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): tax records, invoices, anti-money-laundering checks where applicable.
5. Who we share your data with
We never sell your personal data. We share only what is necessary, with these processors:
- Podia (course hosting, checkout, email delivery) — United States, GDPR-compliant DPA in place.
- Stripe (payment processing) — Ireland/United States.
- PayPal (alternative payment) — Luxembourg/United States.
- Cloudflare (website hosting and security) — global edge network.
- Meta Platforms (Pixel and Conversions API for advertising) — Ireland/United States. Hashed identifiers only on the server side.
- Google (Analytics 4 and Measurement Protocol) — Ireland/United States. IP anonymization enabled.
- Self-hosted infrastructure (Baserow CRM, n8n workflow automation) — operated on a Hostinger VPS in the EU.
If we ever bring on additional processors, we will update this list and (where consent is required) ask you to re-confirm.
6. Cookies and tracking
Essential cookies are needed for the cart, checkout, login, and basic security. Analytics and advertising cookies require your consent through the banner that appears on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time. Full list, vendors, and retention periods: Cookie Policy.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and request a copy.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten") where legally possible.
- Restrict or object to processing, including direct marketing.
- Receive your data in a portable format (CSV/JSON).
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you believe we are mishandling your data.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@thepetinfluencermastercourse.com. We respond within 30 days.
8. Data retention
- Webinar leads: up to 24 months from last interaction, then deleted or anonymized.
- Course buyers: for the legal accounting period (5 years under Spanish tax law) plus the duration of course access.
- Marketing list: until you unsubscribe or 24 months of inactivity, whichever comes first.
- Analytics data: aggregated and retained per the limits configured in Google Analytics 4 (default 14 months).
9. International transfers
Some of our processors operate outside the European Economic Area (United States, primarily). When data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework certifications (where the processor is certified), or your explicit consent.
10. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, hashed identifiers for advertising pixels, encrypted databases, role-based access control, and 2FA on all admin accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but we follow industry best practice and notify the AEPD and affected users within 72 hours of any qualifying breach.
11. Children
Our services are intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated by email to active users. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
